Okay, sharing a CBC memory or two. Growing up in Detroit, I could watch CBC 9 for both Sesame Street (where I learned to count in French) and Don Cherry (where I learned to be afraid of Canadians).

Hope the lockout ends soon, or at least better than the Detroit Free Press lockout.

Eric Eggertson

Don Cherry is supposed to be scary. It's part of his schtick. Apparently he was a pussycat around his late wife, and only brought out the bulldog persona when in public.


the CBC is locked out? never fear, they'll get the old ministry of information working again before the next election
