I've added these blogs to my Bloglines list. I wasn't getting enough CanCon*:
Fine Young Journalist - anonymous Canadian journalist
John Gushue ... Dot Dot Dot - St. John's, Newfoundland journalist
Notes from a Teacher: Mark on Media - Vancouver media instructor Mark Hamilton
Small Dead Animals - conservative Saskatchewan commentator Kate McMillan
Trafcom News - communications consultant Donna Papacosta
(no title?) - Toronto Star media columnist Antonia Zerbisias
And from Europe:
Hacking Cough - freelance journalist Chris Edwards
*(Canadian Content, for those who don't know about the Canadian Radio Telecommunications Commission's edict that broadcast media in Canada meet a quote of content produced by Canadians)
Hey, I'm happy to be part of your CanCon. Thanks, Eric. I think I'll boost my OWN blogroll's CanCon by adding you. I always enjoy reading your posts.
cheers,
donna

Antonia Zerbisias' blog is called Azerbic, as per the article in the Fall 2005 issue of Press Review, "Blogging and Journalism." Access the article at http://www.pressreview.ca/feat_3.html.

Thanks for the background, Judy.
If you go to the Zerbster's blog, however, there's nothing to indicate a title, other than "Toronto Star Blogs" and, under her photo, "Antonia Zerbesias". In my book, that's an untitled blog, no matter what she tells friends and colleagues in some other venue.

You're right that it isn't on her blog page; however, it IS listed as Azerbic on the Toronto Star blogs listing:

Re: your statement, "no matter what she tells friends and colleagues in some other venue"....
I guess the Press Review would qualify as such a venue, with the masthead including the line:
"Our major objective is to provide an open communications forum for communicators in newspapers, radio, television, corporations, associations and government."
I know I was delighted to discover her blog's name is Azerbic--which, I'm sure you'll agree is a GREAT choice for Antonia--when I turned to the article in my print copy of Press Review. Definitely more of her readers should know about it; Antonia/The Star really should add it to the page.
