During a recent (short) trip to Vancouver, I had commuting time available for photography. Here are some shots between Chesterfield and 7th Street in North Vancouver, and Robson Square downtown.
In Flickr, you can look at a photographer's photostream, or you can view different "sets" they've created. Here's a link to my Vancouver set.
When it's not raining non-stop for 40 days, the light in Vancouver is incredible. I love just wandering and coming across the visual detritus of the city.
The photo on the right is from demolition taking place at Chesterfield and 2nd Street.
Below is a shot from around Thurlow Street, a block off Georgia. Click for a larger image.
I live in Burnaby and grew up on the North Shore. Looking through all these photos was fun for me because I knew where everything was, and oddly nostalgic considering I haven't moved away! Thanks for posting. Hope you enjoyed the trip.

I always enjoy visiting Vancouver, even when it's raining relentlessly.
Glad you enjoyed the photos. If you want to see more, try viewing the Tag for Vancouver on Flickr. Any photos with that tag will show up.
